A tribute to painter, theatre designer, and scenographer Oskar Schlemmer (1888–1943), this video offers a digital reimagining of the Cabinet of Figures, originally created in 1922 at the Bauhaus school. Conceived during a residency in 2009, it features students embodying the spirits of the place, transfigured through artificial intelligence — a kind of “cinematic modelling clay” capable of teleporting the Bauhaus of Weimar into a new audiovisual materiality.
The original soundtrack, composed by Rainier Lericolais, enhances the geometric dimension of the piece, weaving a subtle link between futuristic past and contemporary avant-garde.

A true visual poem on decay and transfiguration, The Post-Human Condition envisions a future where the last remnants of humanity dissolve, only to be reborn as hybrid figures — transfigured into grotesque vegetal forms, echoing the surrealist portraits of the Italian Mannerist painter Arcimboldo.
These bodies, fusions of decomposing flesh and organic textures, embody an art of putrefaction, orchestrated by cleansing AIs and mystical androids — disciples of a contemporary art in decomposition.
In this underworld, faces recomposed as collages of rotting vegetables and mouldy fruits become relics of a danse macabre at the heart of a corrupted world.
Rot becomes the matrix of an unheard consciousness —
a silent revenge of nature
upon the remains of humanity.

Neither an artist nor a scholar as they were known in the 20th century, Berrybeuys was the hybrid of a modest farmer and a visionary thinker. He had absorbed the ideas of Joseph Beuys and transformed them into a new philosophy of life — within a Berry of biofuturist invention.
