The Post-Human Condition
A true visual poem on decay and transfiguration, The Post-Human Condition envisions a future where the last remnants of humanity dissolve, only to be reborn as hybrid figures — transfigured into grotesque vegetal forms, echoing the surrealist portraits of the Italian Mannerist painter Arcimboldo. These bodies, fusions of decomposing flesh and organic textures, embody an art of putrefaction, orchestrated by cleansing AIs and mystical androids — disciples of a contemporary art in decomposition. In this underworld, faces recomposed as collages of rotting vegetables and mouldy fruits become relics of a danse macabre at the heart of a corrupted world. Rot becomes the matrix of an unheard consciousness — a silent revenge of nature upon the remains of humanity.
